General Policy and Procedures

Refunds:
ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Cancellations should be received in writing three weeks prior to the start of camp. Cancellations that are received after the three week cut off period will be honored if the camper provides documented evidence of non-attendance due to medical injury or illness. Campers who leave camp due to injury or illness will be pro-rated after the non-refundable expenses are paid. All refund requests must be in writing and received by September 1st. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL AFTER AUGUST 15TH.

Appropriate Behavior:
Campers are expected to adhere to appropriate camp behavior standards. On site directors/coaches will speak to the campers on the first day of camp regarding what behavior is expected of them. Failure to comply with this request will result in dismissal without refund.

Residence Hall Damage:
Campers will be assessed any damage to the rooms. We urge them to treat our residence halls as if they were in their own homes.

Care of Premises:
Each resident shall maintain the residence hall in a clean and orderly condition. There will be no moving of furniture and all trash will be disposed of in the trash cans. This will be checked upon departure.

Meals:
Meals will be provided in the main cafeteria. All food will remain in this area and no food will be permitted in the residence halls. Each camper may still bring a cooler with munchies.

Rights of Others:
Each person residing in the residence halls shall observe and respect the rights of the other residence in the hall. This includes avoiding excessive noise and observing camp curfews.

Substances:
At no time is smoking permitted on campus by any camper. At no time is alcoholic beverages permitted by any camper. The use of any narcotic or illegal substance will result in immediate eviction from camp.

Telephone:
The office and upper residence hall has a pay phone. Each camper will need a calling card, a prepaid phone card, or know how to call collect. Each camper should respect the time of others and limit their calls to 10 minutes or less. Cell phones do not work at our location.

Safety:
Fire fighting, detection, and alarm equipment is provided for the protection of all residents. It is not to be tampered with by campers. Any camper found setting off, abusing, or tampering with any safety system, air conditioning unit, or sewer system will be charged for all damage and will be prosecuted in a court of law. For the protection of all residents, at no time is access to hall roofs or windows ledges permitted. There is a swimming pool provided for your enjoyment. No camper is to swim without an adult present. Under no circumstances will any foreign object, other than pool equipment or pool toys, be permitted in the pool.
